Joan Wright is a Leadership Criteria Framework Feedback Specialist (LCFFS) and coach for the Washington State Leadership Academy. She is also an adjunct professor for Washington State University, a district improvement consultant for Touchet School District and worked three years as a district improvement facilitator for the Omak School District.
Dr. Wright’s 34-year career in public education includes 10 years of central office work as an Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources and Director of Student Services, 12 years of high school administration as an assistant principal and principal, and 12 years of teaching.
While living in Wenatchee Joan has held board positions and been the president of Wenatchee Sunrise Rotary and Chelan/Douglas CASA. She has also served as a Washington State Commissioner for the Northwest Association of Schools and Colleges, and as a National Blue Ribbon Schools Program reviewer. In 1995 she was recognized as Washington State’s Principal of the Year.
Joan received her B.A. and M.A. degrees from Central Washington University and her Ed.D. from Washington State University.
