Dr. Steve Bodnar is currently serving as a coach for the Washington State Leadership Academy.
Prior to his current role, Steve served as a Teacher in the Marysville School District, an Elementary Principal in the Edmonds School District, Director of Human Resources and Student Services for Yelm Community Schools, Assistant Superintendent for the Stanwood-Camano School District, Assistant Superintendent and Superintendent for the Centralia School District.
Steve’s leadership roles were supported by a Doctorate of Education Degree from Nova Southeastern University, a Superintendent Credential from Seattle Pacific University, a Masters of Education and Principal Credential from Seattle Pacific University, and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary and Special Education from Washington State University.
Steve has been an active member of both professional and civic organizations such as the American Association of School Administrators, Washington Association of School Administrators, Association of Supervision and Curriculum Development, Lewis County United Way Board Member, and the Centralia Rotary.
Steve was honored to serve as an adjunct faculty member for the Seattle Pacific University Educational Leadership Program helping in the development of school and district level leaders. In addition, he was an integral part of the Seattle Pacific Professional Education Advisory Board Executive Leadership Program.
